We are looking for a Portfolio Manager based in our Jyväskylä or Espoo office.

Our energy market services include, among others, portfolio management and market reporting services for the electricity, gas and emissions allowance markets, trading services, Guarantees of Origin, and 24/7 control room services.
At Gasum, our Power business plays a pivotal role in the sustenance and growth of our business. Our team of 12 of Gasum Portfolio Services professionals is focused in providing customer value across power, gas and energy markets.
As a Portfolio Manager in MiFID licensed company Gasum Portfolio Services (GPS), you are responsible for a defined set of customers and their energy-related portfolios. You will work as a part of a strong team of experts including portfolio managers, analysts and traders, within Gasums Power organization, collaborating closely with other teams across the unit to deliver increasing customer value across the electricity and broader energy market value chain. You act as a trusted advisor, supporting customers with hedging strategies, risk policies, market insights, and reporting across power, gas and related commoditiesalso covering emissions and/or Guarantees of Origin (GoO) where applicable.
The role is diverse, and success requires strong ability to understand complex end-to-end portfolio situations and to produce clear analyses and reporting that support high-quality decision-making. You will work closely with the analytics team and contribute to building Gasums market view, which guides commercial activity and customer recommendations, while operating in line with the requirements and governance of an investment-licensed company.
Main responsibilities in the role are:
– Responsibility for named customer portfolios and related actions, covering power and gas consumption/production portfolios (financial and physical) and/or emissions/GoO portfolios – Advise customers on hedging strategies, risk policies, power and gas markets, related commodity markets, and customer reporting – Maintain active customer dialogue and manage day-to-day cooperation; negotiate contracts within agreed mandates – Contribute to the development of services, products and reporting tools to improve customer value and operational efficiency – Support Sales by participating in sales cases and customer engagements when needed – Work according to the guidelines and governance of an investment-licensed company, ensuring strong compliance and documentation quality
What we expect from you:
– Masters degree (e.g., technical, economics, mathematics or similar) – 3-10+ years of relevant experience – Broad knowledge and experience of energy markets, emissions and GoO markets, and financial markets and products – Customer-oriented with strong ownership and accountability – Precise and structured; able to manage multiple topics and prioritize effectively – Able to simplify complex issues and communicate clearly with customers – Strong collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders – Fluency in Finnish and English. Swedish in considered as an advantage.
