The use of physiological measures in elite and professional team sports is accelerating rapidly, as teams seek to optimize athletes’ internal load and overall performance capacity. Coaches and performance staff increasingly rely on data-driven decision-making to support long-term athlete development. We’re seeking a well-connected Sales Account Executive with strong relationships in elite and collegiate team sports to strengthen our presence in North America. In this role, you will drive sales by engaging directly with college and professional teams, expanding relationships, and helping teams adopt practices that enhance performance.

We expect you to be a proactive member of the Firstbeat team, working closely with colleagues and customers to ensure that market insights, customer feedback, and local opportunities help shape our value creation in team sports.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Growth & Execution
• Drive new sales across elite and collegiate teams in North America.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to consultative selling and closing deals.
• Identify and prioritize growth opportunities through your network and active outreach.
• Represent Firstbeat at key sports events, clinics, and performance conferences.
• Collaborate with Firstbeat’s sales and marketing teams both in the U.S. and Europe to align messaging and strategy.

Customer Relationships & Market Insight
• Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with coaches and performance staff.
• Advise teams on the efficient use of physiological metrics in performance optimization.
• Support customer onboarding and contribute to long-term value creation and account expansion.
• Share best practices with colleagues and support the development of sales capability across the team.
• Actively promote Firstbeat on social media and help educate the market.

Who You Are
• Well-connected in elite and collegiate sports, especially among strength & conditioning, sports science, and performance professionals.
• Experience working with elite teams; previous sales or coaching experience in team sports is required.
• Results-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently with regular travel.
• Strong understanding of physiology and its role in training, recovery, and athlete performance.
• Excellent communicator and collaborator with customers and internal teams.
