Staff Electronics Engineer

We are looking for a Staff Electronics Engineer for our client in Espoo. The position is planned to start as soon as possible and is initially a fixed-term contract of approximately six months. For a strong performer, there is a possibility of longer-term or permanent employment.

As a
Staff Electronics Engineer
, you will lead the design, development, validation, and qualification of mixed-signal electronic systems. You will take technical ownership of complex electronics solutions and support long-term hardware development.

What youll do
– Lead the design, development, validation testing, and qualification of high-reliability mixed-signal electronics
– Own technical systems with end-to-end accountability, ensuring they meet mission and scalability requirements
– Use industry trends, data, and internal stakeholder feedback to implement ideas that advance the electronics platform
– Drive engineering discipline and best practices across teams, influencing how hardware solutions are developed
– Anticipate future needs by architecting systems and processes that support long-term technology evolution
– Mentor and support the development of the wider engineering organization

We are looking for candidates who have

– A university degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field
– 10+ years of experience in electronics engineering
– Strong experience in mixed-signal electronics design and board-level development
– Experience designing schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer
– Experience leading complex R&D projects
– Ability to take end-to-end technical ownership of electronic systems
– Excellent command of English

We appreciate

– Experience working with embedded or aerospace systems
– Experience with Python or Linux-based scripting
– Experience working with high-reliability electronic systems
– Familiarity with PLM systems
