HVAC Engineer for CAM Plant Project, Kotka

We are seeking a skilled and technically competent HVAC Engineer to join China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd.s team for the CAM factory project in Kotka.

China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd. (CHEC) is a world-renowned international contractor and a leading provider of comprehensive services across the entire industry chain for both public and private sectors. CHEC has been engaged as the main contractor for the CAM Plant project in Kotka, responsible for the implementation and construction of the plant.

In this position, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary project team, supporting HVAC design, construction, and technical coordination throughout the project lifecycle. You will ensure the quality and accuracy of HVAC designs, lead drawing reviews, and provide hands-on technical support on-site.

Your responsibilities include:

– Coordinating with other disciplines to support HVAC design planning and optimize solutions
– Leading the preparation, review, and quality control of HVAC construction drawings
– Participating in drawing disclosure, acceptance inspections, and post-design coordination
– Providing on-site technical support and resolving HVAC-related issues
– Preparing HVAC material and equipment quantity take-offs and assisting in procurement evaluations
– Working with HVAC systems such as heating, cooling, dehumidification, air conditioning, ventilation, smoke control, and process exhaust

We expect from you:

– Bachelors degree in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related field
– 5+ years of experience in HVAC design and drawing review for mid- or large-scale projects
– Good knowledge of European standards and Finnish HVAC regulations
– Proficiency in CAD, Revit, and relevant calculation software
– Professional proficiency in Finnish and English
– Strong coordination, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
