Finnair Component Mechanics (Summer 2026)

We are now hiring motivated Component Mechanics to join our Component Maintenance team for summer 2026 to work at Finnair Technical Operations, located at the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport area.

This is a fixed-term contract starting between April-June 2026 and lasting until the end of August-September 2026.

Minimum Requirements for Summer Employment:

– Experience or strong interest in working in aviation and maintenance environment.
– Relevant vocational training, you can be a student or a graduate. Aircraft Mechanics vocational training is seen as an asset.
– Strong academic performance.
– Good spoken and written English skills. Fluency in Finnish is seen as an asset.
– At least 18 years old or older.
– Ability to work in shifts.
– Clean background, a pre-employment security clearance check is required.

Recruitment Process
