Senior IT Operations Specialist

BE Group is a trading and service company, offering a broad range of steel, stainless steel, and aluminium products. With extensive expertise and efficient processes in purchasing, logistics and production, we offer inventory sales, production service and direct deliveries to customers based on their specific needs for steel and metal products. The customers operate in the manufacturing and construction industries in Sweden and Finland.

BE Group is strengthening its Nordic IT Operations team with a Senior IT Operations Specialist. In this role, you will ensure stable daytoday operations across hybrid Microsoft environments while helping modernize infrastructure and security. You will work handson, collaborate closely with external partners, and support a shared Finland-Sweden IT setup.

Location: Lahti, Finland

Key responsibilities:

– Ensure stable IT operations across infrastructure, identity, security, endpoints, and hybrid Microsoft environments.
– Act as a senior technical counterpart for Azure, M365, Intune, Entra ID, and Windows Server.
– Execute modernization initiatives and guide partners technical recommendations into decisions and actions.
– Work handson in a lean Nordic IT setup, balancing operational tasks with continuous improvement.
– Help shape our cloud journey through Azure modernization, cloud adoption, and cuttingedge virtual desktop solutions – and grow your expertise as we evolve.
– Boost your technical edge by working with modern endpoint lifecycle tools (Intune/Autopilot) andstrengthening our security and infrastructure resilience.
– Expand your industry footprint with exposure to manufacturing environments and handson work with Dynamics 365/ERP in a rapidly modernizing IT landscape.
Key requirements:

– 5-10 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or hybrid onprem/cloud environments.
– Strong handson skills across the Microsoft ecosystem: Azure, M365, Intune, Entra ID/AD, Windows Server.
– Practical experience with core operational areas (backup, patching, identity, endpoint management).
– Experience collaborating with external partners or outsourced IT delivery models.
– Ability to operate broadly in mixed legacy and modern environments.
– Manufacturing environment experience is a plus.
– Min bachelors degree in IT related studies (incl. infrastructure, security, identity, and networking).
– Effective communication skills in English and in Finnish.
