Database Specialist Db2 for z/OS

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Database Specialist to join Data centre and Connectivity Services in Production Services department.

In this role, you will administer database solutions across our client units with a particular focus on Db2 for z/OS.

Your responsibilities consist of database performance, capacity planning & monitoring, maintenance and security. You will also ensure that our databases remain compliant, stable and cost-effective, and guide vendors in areas such data integrity, updates and patches.

Your work includes providing Tier 3-level support to vendors and internal stakeholders across our client units. You are also participating in change management, steering, advisory, and consulting.

Services are created to meet business needs, so you need a strong understanding of business application priorities, technologies, dependencies, and both production and development processes.

You work fluently in English, and Finnish skills are seen as a plus.

The necessary requirement is: Db2 for z/OS (DBA)

Extra plus about the knowledge of Db2 for LUW, PostgreSQL
