In this position you will be responsible for conducting research, experiments and validations using the company’s phage-biosensor method to detect the early stage of diseases from non-invasive samples (saliva, urine).
Your research topics will mainly cover our phage-biosensor development based on bacteriophage constructs. The work will include developing biosensors towards different disease biomarkers related to cancers and to infectious diseases performing and sample preparation and analyzing bioassays. The work includes the development of in-vitro evolution processes of phages, and complementary tests using traditional methods with external collaborators. Your duties also consist of documentation, drafting scientific publications, and collaboration with our clinical partners.
Heres what we expect from you:
– M.Sc in biochemistry, biotechnology, systems biology, or related discipline.
– Experience and knowledge in the field of microbiology
– Preparation and measurement of clinical samples (such as saliva, urine, blood).
