Manager, Mechanical Engineering

As a Manager in Mechanical Engineering, your key responsibilities are:
Team leadership
– Lead and develop the Mechanical Engineering team, fostering collaboration and technical excellence
– Ensure mechanical design quality and compliance with customer requirements, standards, and classification needs (EN, ASME, DNV, etc.)
– Drive continuous improvement in design processes, tools, and methodologies

Master Planning & Sales support
– Actively participate in master planning sessions and hour estimations to optimize resource allocation, project timelines and hour budgeting in collaboration with Sales.
– Assign engineers to projects based on resource planning, individual competencies and project requirements.
– Drive and develop short term resource planning.

Project follow-up
– Coordinate mechanical engineering activities across projects, working closely with Sales, Technology, Procurement and other stakeholders.
– Monitor workload, project budgeting and report key project metrics periodically.

Stakeholder Collaboration
– Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
– Apply a continuous improvement mindset

Your profile:
– Proven experience in designing, developing and managing tailorized products
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team
– Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
– Ability to drive process improvements and efficiency

Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with good communication skills
