Kitchen Assistant (Part-time, 30h/week)

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations. Your tasks include preparing ingredients, refilling buffet items, keeping the dining area tidy, and maintaining kitchen hygiene. This role is ideal for someone with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and interest in kitchen work. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities
Food Preparation
Assist with chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and making sauces.
Support the kitchen team in daily prep tasks.

Buffet Refill
Ensure food and sauces are available for the lunch buffet.
Replenish items while maintaining freshness and quality.
Keep buffet area clean and organized.

Dining Area Maintenance
Clear and clean tables.
Dispose of waste properly and maintain overall cleanliness.

Dishwashing & Kitchen Cleaning
Wash dishes, kitchen tools, and equipment.
Maintain hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Follow waste disposal and recycling guidelines.

Requirements
Experience: Previous kitchen/food service experience is a plus, but not required.

Skills:
Basic chopping, food prep, and sauce-making
Organizational and cleaning skills
Ability to manage buffet refills efficiently

Attitude:
Detail-oriented, responsible, hygienic
Team player with positive attitude
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Others:
Valid Food Hygiene Passport (Hygieniapassi) required
Available for shifts, including weekends and holidays
Physically fit to stand for long hours and handle food supplies
