Bioanalytical Chemist
For our Oulu location, we are currently looking for a motivated and skilled professional to join our Bioanalytical Team as a Bioanalytical Chemist
Are you interested in a hands-on, laboratory-based role where you can support drug discovery and development projects by delivering high-quality LC/MS bioanalytical data in a fast-paced CRO environment? In this role you will be joining a professional team of enthusiastic LC/MS experts and collaborating closely with study directors, project teams and other scientific experts, while reporting directly to the Team Leader. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Oulu, Finland.
Key Responsibilities
– Develop and apply LC/MS based bioanalytical methods for various drug modalities, including small molecules, peptides, proteins, ADCs, oligonucleotides as well as biomarkers in various biological matrices.
– Perform laboratory based bioanalysis including method development, sample analysis, data processing and reporting.
– Support various ADME and PK/PD studies by delivering accurate and timely analytical results.
– Troubleshoot analytical challenges and optimize analytical workflows.
– Manage multiple projects and study timelines in a dynamic project environment.
– Process and interpret data using specialized analytical software.
– Contribute to high-quality study reports and documentation.
– Follow SOPs, quality standards and defined workflows.
Qualifications
– MSc in Analytical Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
– At least 3 years of hands-on experience in LC/MS method development and troubleshooting.
– Understanding of drug discovery and development processes.
– Experience with bioanalytical workflows and laboratory data processing.
– Familiarity with analytical software such as MassLynx, TargetLynx, Unifi, Waters Connect, Xcalibur, TraceFinder, Chromeleon, Analyst, MassHunter or Compass.
– Experience with data processing tools such as Phoenix WinNonlin or GraphPad Prism is considered an advantage.
– Knowledge of ECD reporting and ICH M10 and M12 guidelines is an advantage.
– Strong attention to detail, documentation practices and problem solving skills.
– Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
– Fluency in English (written and spoken), Finnish is considered an advantage
– Eligibility to work in Finland.
