About the role
Our client develops and delivers STATCOM products for global markets. The selected candidate will lead and coordinate comprehensive testing activities, including test specifications and plans, RTDS testing, medium-voltage power electronics testing (STATCOMs), as well as software and FPGA test coordination.

Work tasks
You will work in a technically advanced testing environment, including a medium-voltage laboratory with STATCOM devices, Real-Time Digital Simulator (RTDS) testing facilities, as well as software and FPGA validation environments.
– Develop comprehensive test plans and specifications for power electronics products and protection systems
– Coordinate testing activities across multiple teams and laboratories
– Track testing progress, manage timelines, and report status to stakeholders
– Participate directly in critical or complex test activities as needed
– Create and review detailed test specifications and procedures
We are looking for
– Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
– Hands-on experience with RTDS testing
– Experience with test automation development
– Experience with Software validation, Ethernet technologies and FPGA testing methodologies
– Using JIRA
– Background in power electronics
– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
– Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, particularly in a global engineering team
– Fluency in English
It is meritorious if you have
– Previous experience with STATCOM devices
– Knowledge of Robo framework, Python, MATLAB for test automation
– Previous involvement in NPI or R&D projects
