About the role

As a Technical Project Manager, you are the key link between customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. You take the ownership of technical scope of delivery projects from sales handover to commissioning, ensuring structured execution and high-quality delivery of solutions. In this role you will also establish a strong working relationship with the customer, conduct site visits when required, and ensure a shared understanding of functional and technical requirements.

To be successful in this role, you need to have excellent technical understanding and knowledge in PLC programming. As a person you need to have proactive approach to work and excellent ability to cooperate with different stakeholders.

Work tasks

This role involves overseeing the technical aspects of complex industrial projects, from defining specifications to commissioning, working closely with internal teams, customers, and suppliers and deliver integrated automation solutions.
– Managing the overall technical scope of the project from start to finish
– Serving as the main technical contact for the customer
– Coordinating technical interfaces between electrical, mechanical, automation, and software teams
– Tracking open technical issues and ensuring they are resolved
– Collaborating with suppliers and external partners
– Participating in commissioning and technical acceptance activities

We are looking for

– Strong technical background (e.g., automation, electrical engineering, software, or mechanical engineering)
– Understanding of PLC programming
– Experience with control or automation systems
– Understanding of machine safety and system safety requirements
– Ability to understand and manage complex technical interfaces
– A self-driven and proactive way of working
– Strong communication skills with customers and internal stakeholders
– Ability to ensure agreed actions are completed and the project progresses as planned
– Willingness to occasional business travelling
– Excellent English skills (Finnish and other languages are considered an advantage)
