About the role

As a Junior SOC Analyst, youll be part of a team that monitors, investigates, and responds to security events across a modern enterprise environment. Youll work with clear processes and playbooks, and youll learn by doing—supported by more experienced analysts.

Work tasks
– Monitoring security alerts and dashboards, and identifying potential threats
– Performing initial triage and basic investigations (following playbooks and guidance)
– Escalating incidents to senior analysts when needed
– Documenting findings clearly and contributing to continuous improvement
– Communicating with internal stakeholders and, when required, external parties

We are looking for

This is a junior-level role. We care most about your potential, curiosity, and motivation to learn.

Must-haves
– A foundation in IT (through studies, projects, or work experience)
– Genuine interest in cybersecurity and strong motivation to develop in the field (home labs, courses, CTFs, personal projects, or active following of cyber news are a big plus)
– Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
– Fluent English (Finnish and other languages are considered a benefit)
– Ability to work on-site in Keilaniemi and commit to shift work

Nice-to-haves
– Basic understanding of networking, Windows/Linux fundamentals, or common security concepts
– Any relevant certifications, courses, or hands-on security tooling exposure
Working model & shifts
– Location: Keilaniemi, Espoo
– 10-day shift rotation: 2 days 08:00–20:00, 2 days 20:00–08:00, followed by 6 days off
– During shifts youll work on-site

Security clearance
A security clearance will be conducted for the selected candidate
