Junior Business Controller, Helsinki

About the role

In this role, you will assist CFO with a variety of financial administration tasks. You will also participate in financial planning and analysis, ensuring that funds are used wisely. You will be in contact with clients, sending reminders and monitoring overdues. This role is ideal for a student in the final stages of their studies, who is interested to work full-time after graduation. Tools and systems used in this role are Netsuite, Hubspot and business intelligence to visualize historical data from systems and make planning for the future.

Work tasks
– Update pricing together with supply chain and production planning to reflect updated standard costs
– Assist sales team in offer tender processes by making profitability calculations
– Forecast revenue together with from sales data to derive reliable sales forecasts
– Daily monitoring
– Review AP/AR processing
– Supporting the CFO in ad hoc tasks (i.e. budgeting)
– VAT raporting
– Handling travel claims

We are looking for

– Relevant educational background, e.g. economics
– Some work experience, e.g. summer internships or other part-time jobs
– Strong understanding of numbers and the ability to work with them
– Familiarity with some ERP systems
– Understanding the basics of accounting
– Full working proficiency in English
– Excellent interpersonal skills

It is meritorious if you have
– Knowledge of data analysis
– Experience with NetSuite
– Finnish skills
