About the role

You will be responsible for the intake, qualification, prioritization, and governance of all new demands. Your primary goal is to ensure that demand aligns with strategic objectives, resources are optimized, and decisions are transparent. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, facilitate governance board reviews, and manage the conversion of approved demands into projects or agile work.

Work tasks
– Demand Governance: Capture, validate, and manage all incoming demand requests within ServiceNow (SPM).
– Strategic Alignment: Ensure demand requests are complete, accurate, and clearly aligned with overarching strategic objectives.
– Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with business and IT stakeholders to define scope, conduct cost-benefit analysis, and identify necessary resource needs.
– Prioritization & Decision-Making: Facilitate the prioritization process based on business value and organizational capacity. Prepare and present qualified demands to governance boards for transparent decision-making.
– Workflow Management: Manage the approval, deferral, and conversion of approved demands into formal projects or agile work items.
– Reporting & Visibility: Maintain clear visibility of the demand backlog, generate performance reports, and create dashboards to track the demand pipeline against portfolio strategy.

We are looking for

– A Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent demonstrated experience/competence.
– Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in an IT demand management or portfolio management role.
– Strong practical knowledge of Demand Management workflows and governance processes.
– Demonstrated capability to understand both IT and business needs and requirements.
– Experience with cost-benefit analysis and strategic planning concepts.
– Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
– Fluent in written and spoken English.
– A structured work approach with exceptional attention to detail.
– Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving needs.

It is meritorious if you have
– Certification or previous direct experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
– Extensive experience in IT portfolio management and governance processes.
