LAB School of Business educates Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Hospitality Management students for future expert roles and offers continuing education. We are active in RDI (Research, Development, and Innovation) activities and value diverse expertise. We constantly test new ways of working together with companies.
What your work will be like
Your duties consist of planning, implementing, and evaluating UAS education, continuing education, as well as RDI activities and cooperation projects with businesses. You will supervise thesis work and support students along their individual study paths toward graduation. In addition, you will actively participate in research, development, and innovation activities in an expert role.
You will work closely with the university's stakeholders, identify future working life needs, and articulate the significance of digital commercialization. You have a vision of what digital commercialization means and how it is put into practice. Teaching and working take place in both Finnish and English. Duties will be specified according to your own interests.
What we expect from you
Success in the position requires a relevant Master's degree and fluent English language skills. Pedagogical studies can also be conveniently completed after you have started in the position.
We expect you to have strong expertise in digital commerce, customer experience development, and commercialization. You will participate in the development and implementation of education. You will have a role in our fully in English taught degree programs, Business Information Systems and International Business.
We also require a student-oriented approach to work, good planning and organizational skills, and strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Work starts according to agreement, by January 1st, 2027 at the latest. Your home campus is Lahti. The employment relationship is permanent and full-time. Salary and terms of employment are determined according to the Collective agreement for universities of applied sciences by Sivistysala ry. The salary is determined based on qualifications and previous work experience. The salary range for someone meeting the qualification requirements is €3,796–5,285 per month. A six-month probationary period is applied to the position.
