Marketing Director, Medical Business Segment

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Marketing leader to build and lead the global marketing of Bittium’s Medical Business Segment. In this role, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the Medical Business Segment marketing strategy. You will ensure that Bittium’s medical solutions are positioned competitively, credibly, and in full compliance with applicable regulations in selected global markets.

Your mission is to strengthen Bittium’s market position, accelerate commercial growth, and ensure that all marketing and sales communications meet regulatory and compliance requirements in a highly regulated MedTech environment.

This is a senior-level expert and people leadership role combining strategic commercial thinking, understanding of clinical value and evidence, regulatory knowledge, B2B marketing excellence, and an international operating context.

The role combines long-term strategic planning, market-driven insights, and hands-on commercial execution. You will act as a thought leader and expert for Medical business marketing across the entire organization. 

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Bittium Medical Business Segment marketing strategy
  • Own the segment’s value proposition, positioning, and narrative in selected markets
  • Build and execute go-to-market strategies, product launches, and commercial programs
  • Develop and own sales enablement materials, messaging, and customer-specific value stories
  • Lead market, customer, and competitive analysis and translate insights into concrete actions
  • Work closely with sales, product management, and QARA
  • Manage and guide external partners

We expect you to have

  • At least 10 years of experience in B2B marketing within MedTech, medical devices, pharma, or a comparable industry
  • Proven experience in leading strategic marketing, segmentation, or product/solution marketing
  • Experience in a global operating environment and regulated industry
  • Strong commercial mindset and the ability to turn insights into actions that drive growth
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization, across interfaces with sales, technology, and business leadership
  • Relevant higher education degree (e.g. marketing, business, engineering, biomedical sciences)
