Job Description

We are looking for experienced Welders to join the professional teams of our client companies across Southwest Finland and Satakunta Regions.. This is a long-term opportunity to work within Finnish industry, including shipbuilding, manufacturing, and heavy industry.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Applicants must currently reside in Finland and possess the legal right to work in Finland (e.g., Finnish citizenship, a valid work permit, or an EU/EEA passport).

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking hands-on professionals with an accurate and careful way of working.

– Experience & Education: You have relevant vocational training (e.g., in mechanical or metal industry) and solid practical experience in welding.

– Technical Versatility: You are experienced in multiple welding methods, which may include TIG, MIG, MAG, SMAW, or GTAW.

– Materials: You have experience welding various materials and objects, such as plate and pipe, covering carbon steel, stainless steel, black iron or aluminium.

– Drawing Skills: You can read and follow technical drawings accurately.

– Work Style: You can work independently, with a partner, and as a proactive part of a mutually supportive team.

– Certificates: You already possess certificates (”luokat”) or are willing to attend welding certificate tests.

– Language: The working language is English. Good communication skills are required for safety and teamwork. Any knowledge of Finnish language is a plus.

What We Offer

We offer a salary according to the Technology Industry’s collective agreement (TES). The salary is determined by your skills and experience. There is a possibility of permanent employment after 6 months. You will receive comprehensive onboarding, clear job instructions, and a personal contact person from the Contio team.

Starting salary: 14,00€ -16,50 € / h depending on skill level and region of placement.
