Hydraulic Engineer, Tampere

About the role

In this role, youll focus on the design and development of hydraulic systems for mobile machinery, working in a five-person hydraulics team. Youll collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and control engineering teams to ensure system performance, reliability, and smooth integration.

Work tasks

This role involves hands-on design and development of hydraulic systems for advanced mobile machinery, covering hydraulic circuit design, component selection, system integration, and close collaboration with other engineering disciplines to ensure reliable system performance.
– Design, develop, and ensure functionality of hydraulic systems for mobile machinery.
– Design hydraulic circuits, select components, and ensure system reliability and performance in demanding conditions.
– Define functionalities and dimensions for hydraulic components, integrating them into electrical and control systems.
– Utilize E3 design software for documenting hydraulic connections.
– Manage product information and structures, and implement changes in Teamcenter.
– Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, control, and software design teams, production, procurement, and suppliers.
– Analyze and dimension hydraulic systems, including flow, thermal, and pressure phenomena.

We are looking for

– Advanced knowledge of hydraulics and hydraulic system design.
– Good knowledge of E3 design software.
– Good knowledge of Teamcenter for product information management.
– Advanced English language skills.

It is meritorious if you have
– Basic experience with 3D modeling (e.g., NX).
– Fluent Finnish language skills.
