About the role

As a Senior Software Lead, you will spearhead development for our client’s underground drills product portfolio. This hands-on leadership role focuses on driving software commonality across multiple product families and R&D sites, ensuring architectural alignment and seamless releases within a complex multi-team setup.

Work tasks
– Lead hands-on software development for the product portfolio.
– Drive commonality potential realization across multiple product families.
– Cooperate and coordinate architecture with other R&D teams.
– Coordinate release plans in a multi-project and multi-team setup.
– Develop new features and regular update releases for the common software code base.
– Ensure architectural alignment between R&D sites.
– Apply modern software engineering practices in daily development.

We are looking for

– Senior level competence in software development
– Strong Linux and C++ competence for application development.
– Advanced communication and co-operation skills.
– Fluent English.
– Experience with team work and modern software engineering practices.

It is meritorious if you have
– Good knowledge of Qt and machine control.
– Proficiency in Finnish or French.
– Experience with CI/GUI development tools such as GIT, Gerrit, Jenkins, Google Repo, Robot Framework, Python, QML, or Vue.js.
