Storytelling Cinematography for Commercials – Freelance Uusimaa

The content we film is purposefully for marketing & commercial use.

We’re looking for a creative multilingual talented cinematographer. Experience is needed, education is a plus.

You will work closely with the Media team, we currently have an intern, a more experienced individual, and a good video editor. The more experienced individual is now pursuing studies so we need someone new.

OPEN FUTURE ROLES:
– Actor/Actress: can perform in front of a camera
– Journalist: can write news articles for businesses
– Manager: can manage and lead a team

Skills required:
1. Friendly & Customer service & Punctual
You will be representing the company at filmdays so it’s crucial you’re friendly and punctual, we’re always on time with what we do. You will need to engage in conversation with business owners and give a good impression of yourself, your talent, and the company. Being social is important in this job.

2. Experience in Videography & use of drones
You need to be able to use a gimbal, camera, tripod, handle audio equipment, and sometimes lighting. Use of drones is also needed.

3. Creative storytelling & scriptwriting
You need to be able to plan shooting days accordingly, and do scriptwriting that suits commercial use.

Skills that are HIGHLY Valuable:
1. Sales
If you have experience in Sales you’ll be able to sell our services on the spot, and earning a generous commission doing so.

2. Project Management & Leadership
In the future we want to have a full-time manager for the Media team who handles logistics, client communication, and leads the projects.

3. Teamwork
You’ll work in groups of two filming gigs, it’s important that you can work as a team and even ”lead” the videographer intern.

NOTE: Currently we have inconsistent work in this sector, some months more, some months less, with a consistent spike in the Spring / Summer. We’re aiming to have next year 5-10 filmdays / month for various businesses.

REQUIREMENTS – Do not apply if these are not met:
1. Experience and examples of videos you’ve shot.
2. Fluent in Swedish & Finnish (if you can’t speak Swedish but you’re fluent in Finnish that’s okay, but currently most of our commercial clients have been Swedish speaking finns.
3. No access to transport (You need a vehicle to drive to various places)
