We’re looking for **passionate and skilled waitstaff** to join **Restaurant Aihki**, part of **Sunday Morning Resort** in Pyhä, Finnish Lapland.

Restaurant Aihki is renowned for its modern Nordic-Scandinavian cuisine, where pure local ingredients take centre stage. Our restaurant has twice been recognised among **Finland’s Best Restaurants** by Kauppalehti Optio (2022 & 2023, score 16+).

At Aihki, sustainability, locally sourced ingredients and contemporary Nordic gastronomy come together to create unforgettable dining experiences for our guests.

This position is perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality, appreciates exceptional food and wants to be part of an atmospheric, high-quality restaurant where the flavours of Lapland are the true stars of every menu.

**Your responsibilities**

– Welcome and serve guests with genuine warmth and professionalism during **breakfast, lunch and dinner**

– Present our dishes and beverages while sharing the stories behind the ingredients and our culinary philosophy

– Deliver attentive and seamless table service, particularly during dinner service

– Prepare and close the restaurant before and after service

– Manage reservations and collaborate closely with the kitchen and reception teams to ensure a smooth guest experience

– Recommend and upsell wines, beverages and seasonal tasting menus when appropriate

– Maintain the cleanliness, organisation and presentation of the restaurant

**We’re looking for someone who has**

– Hospitality education or previous restaurant experience, ideally in **fine dining** or a high-quality **à la carte** environment

– A genuine passion for exceptional food, Nordic cuisine and outstanding hospitality

– Excellent communication skills and a warm, positive attitude

– **Fluent English**; Finnish is a significant advantage as we also welcome many domestic guests. Additional languages are highly appreciated.

– A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to remain calm and professional during busy services

– A genuine desire to create memorable dining experiences for every guest

– A valid **Hygiene Passport** and **Alcohol Serving Licence**
