About the position

Santa Claus Holiday Village Safaris is looking for experienced guides for the upcoming winter season to create unforgettable experiences in the unique nature of Lapland. In this role, you will guide international guests through a variety of winter season activities. The company offers a wide range of activities, including Northern Lights tours, husky safaris, reindeer safaris and other adventure excursions. In this role, you will be at the heart of an international tourism environment where customer service, safety and the creation of experiences come together.

The employment periods are from November 2026 to March 2027, with both full-season and shorter contracts available, starting from approximately one-month long assignments. Various working hour models are offered: on-call employment contracts, 90 h / 3 weeks and 112,5 h / 3 weeks contracts. The work is scheduled flexibly including evenings, weekends and public holidays during the peak season. The terms of employment follow the collective agreement for the program services sector. The employment relationship is established between Bondata and the employee.

Guide duties:

– Safely guiding and leading groups during activities

– Providing customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the experience

– Delivering engaging storytelling and enriching the overall customer experience

– Reviewing safety instructions and always ensuring compliance

– Handling equipment and preparing gear before and after activities

– Collaborating with the safari team to ensure a smooth guest experience

We expect from you:

– Previous experience as a guide experience gained in Northern regions is considered an advantage

– Fluent English skills other languages are considered an advantage

– Experience in Northern conditions and understanding of winter clothing and safety practices

– Valid driving licence and experience in winter driving (required)

– Strong customer service attitude and a proactive, energetic approach

– Good communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to work in an international environment

– Flexibility and readiness to work shifts according to the season

Salary

The salary is in accordance with the collective agreement for the program services sector.
