Area Operator Trainer

We are now looking for an **Area Operator Trainer** to strengthen our Service Excellence team.

In this role, you play a key role in customer machine usage training for Ponsse forest machines. You provide guidance and hands-on machine usage training at the time of machine handover, ensuring that customers and local operators are able to use Ponsse forest machines safely, efficiently and correctly from the very first working day. In addition, you train and coach local operators and trainers as part of our international service and dealer network, through both hands-on training and classroom-based group sessions.

**What do we expect from you?**

We are looking for a person who enjoys training and coaching and is able to combine strong technical expertise with good people skills.

You have:

– Relevant vocational or technical education

– Strong competence in cut-to-length harvesting and forest machine / forest machine technology

– An independent and analytical approach to problem-solving, especially in matters related to machine operation or operator skills

– Good cooperation and communication skills

– Interest and motivation to work as a trainer and mentor

– Ability and readiness to deliver both hands-on training and classroom-based group training

– Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis (on average at least once a month, mainly within Europe more if needed)

– Basic skills in computer programs and office applications

– Fluent spoken and written English; other language skills are considered an advantage
