Cook – Persian & Middle Eastern Cuisine

We are looking for an experienced cook with professional expertise in authentic Persian and Middle Eastern cuisine. The restaurant is developing its Persian food concept and expanding its menu. The successful candidate will play an important role in establishing the new menu and maintaining consistent food quality and preparation standards.

Main responsibilities

Preparing and cooking authentic Persian and Middle Eastern dishes

Preparing traditional Persian grilled dishes, particularly Koobideh, Joojeh and Shishlik

Preparing Persian rice, marinades, sauces and traditional side dishes

Maintaining consistent taste, quality, presentation and portion standards

Developing, testing and standardising recipes for the restaurant menu

Organising daily food preparation and managing kitchen operations independently

Maintaining food hygiene and safety standards

Controlling food usage and minimising waste

Requirements

Proven professional experience as a cook in a restaurant

Strong professional expertise in authentic Persian cuisine

Demonstrable hands-on experience preparing Koobideh, Joojeh and Shishlik

Good knowledge of traditional Persian cooking methods, marinades and ingredients

Ability to prepare Persian dishes consistently in a professional restaurant environment

Ability to work independently and efficiently during restaurant service

Knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling
