Food Import & Procurement Specialist

**Job Description**

We are looking for a professional in food sourcing and import for a permanent position. Our primary sourcing regions are China and Southeast Asia, where companies are predominantly Chinese-owned.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the described field, as well as the ability to continuously monitor the operating environment and changes in international pricing. Without existing relationships in the source countries, building such operations from Finland can be challenging.

You are able to independently establish new business relationships and act quickly to close deals when opportunities arise. We will provide training on the specific EU requirements for food products at the beginning of employment, but you are expected to have the ability and motivation for independent learning.

As you will be working closely with Chinese partners, we require at least working proficiency in Mandarin Chinese. Knowledge of Cantonese is considered an advantage. A basic level of English is sufficient.
