Cook Wanted – Japanese Izakaya Restaurant

We are looking for a **skilled and motivated Cook** to join our Japanese izakaya restaurant in Helsinki.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with Japanese and broader East Asian cuisine and who can work efficiently in a busy restaurant kitchen.

– Previous experience working as a **cook** in a restaurant kitchen

– Good **chopstick skills** and familiarity with Japanese-style food preparation

– Experience with **East Asian cuisine**, including but not limited to: Japanes, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese

– Experience working in an **Asian restaurant or kitchen is a strong advantage**

– Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment

– Good understanding of food hygiene, preparation, and kitchen safety

– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

– Japanese language skills are **an advantage**

– Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
