We are now looking for a Senior Sales Account Manager – Marine in India to grow Cadmatic’s business across the region. In this role, you take ownership of a defined territory and named accounts. You focus on winning new business, growing existing customer relationships, and building a strong, predictable sales pipeline in a complex B2B environment. You will report directly to the Regional Sales Director, India, Amit Joshi. In India, we have offices in Mumbai, Goa, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad. At Cadmatic, we work in a hybrid model.
What you will work on:
- Driving new business and expanding existing accounts within shipbuilding and related industries, with a clear focus on orders and revenue targets
- Building long‑term, trust‑based relationships with C‑level executives, acting as a trusted advisor to customers
- Identifying growth opportunities within existing customers, including white space and competitive install base
- Developing account plans and sales strategies that engage C‑level executives and key decision makers
- Building and managing a healthy sales pipeline, including accurate forecasting and regular reporting
- Planning and executing demand generation activities together with marketing, product specialists, and the high‑velocity team
- Working closely with support and delivery teams to progress opportunities and ensure customer success
- Communicating sales status, plans, and campaigns as part of monthly and quarterly business reviews
What helps you succeed in this role:
- 5–8 years of experience and a proven track record in direct sales or account management, ideally within software solutions for shipbuilding, O&G, plant owner‑operators, or EPC companies
- Relevant degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Business, or Information Technology and background in shipbuilding, process industries, or other complex engineering industry
- Experience and confidence working with long sales cycles and senior‑level stakeholders. We value a self‑driven mindset with the motivation to set ambitious goals and deliver results
- Strong customer understanding and the ability to connect customer challenges with Cadmatic’s solutions
- A structured approach to account planning and sales execution, for example using frameworks such as MEDDIC
- Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to work across cultures
- Hands‑on experience with ship design or plant design software is considered an advantage
