COOK – BLISS BAR & GRILL, JÄTKÄSAARI
A new **Bliss Bar & Grill** will open in Jätkäsaari, Helsinki, in November, and we are now looking for skilled and motivated **cooks** to join our new team.
We offer both **full-time and part-time positions**, with flexible start dates during November.
At Bliss Bar & Grill, we serve weekday lunch as well as à la carte in the evenings and on weekends. We also provide private events and catering services. By joining a brand-new restaurant, you will have the opportunity to help build our operations and working culture from the very beginning.
Job duties
The cooks role includes a wide range of restaurant kitchen duties, such as:
– preparing lunch and à la carte dishes
– food preparation and daily kitchen tasks
– ensuring food quality, hygiene and compliance with self-monitoring procedures
– taking special dietary requirements into account
– working closely with the rest of the kitchen and front-of-house team
Depending on your skills and experience, the role may also include contributing to menu planning and the development of kitchen operations.
Requirements
We expect applicants to have:
– previous experience in a restaurant kitchen and/or relevant education
– the ability to work independently and as part of a team
– a careful, efficient and responsible approach to work
– a good understanding of food hygiene and special dietary requirements
– a valid Hygiene Passport
– willingness to work evenings and weekends
– sufficient Finnish and/or English skills to perform the duties
Experience in an **à la carte kitchen and/or lunch service** is considered an advantage, as is an interest in contributing to menu and operational development.

Salary will be based on the **Finnish hospitality industry collective agreement**, as well as the role, your skills and previous experience.
