Household Assistant

We are looking for a Household Assistant for a private home in Southern Helsinki. The position involves regular cleaning and maintenance of the home, care of bed linen and household textiles, meal preparation, cleaning windows, organising, and other versatile general household duties. The work is carried out on two fixed afternoons per week, four hours per session.The position requires the highest level of trustworthiness, as the work is carried out in a private family home.

The household includes children and pets, and we expect the successful candidate to be genuinely comfortable and at ease with both.

**Requirements**

– Demonstrated experience in household work or equivalent domestic cleaning and home management tasks

– Professional knowledge of cleaning methods, hygiene standards, and household safety practices

– Ability to handle textiles and laundry appropriately

– Fluent English (working language of the household is English)

– Warm and natural attitude toward children and pets

– Reliability, ability to work independently, and attention to detail

– Commitment to a regular part-time schedule on fixed weekdays
