We are looking for a **skilled Welder for a long-term position in Raahe** on behalf of our client.
In this position, you will work with demanding and large-scale steel structures and products for the machine shop industry. The role requires strong welding skills, the ability to read technical drawings, and a precise and careful approach to work.
Job Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a Welder will include:
– Welding large steel structures and machine shop products
– MIG/MAG welding
– Reading and interpreting welding and mechanical drawings
– Fitting and assembling components for welding
– Setting up welding machines and equipment
– Inspecting the quality of welded joints
– Finishing components and carrying out necessary repairs
– Working according to production instructions and quality requirements
– Cooperating with other production personnel and supervisors
We Expect You To Have
– Previous experience in MIG/MAG welding
– Good ability to read welding and mechanical drawings
– Experience in welding steel structures or machine shop products
– Ability to produce high-quality welds on demanding and large-scale components
– A precise and careful approach to work
– Ability to work independently and responsibly
– Good teamwork skills
– Willingness to develop your skills and learn new things
**Experience in heavy machine shop industry, welding large components, or working with demanding steel structures is considered an advantage.** Welding qualifications and other relevant welding certifications are also considered an advantage.
