Waiter / Waitress

We are looking for a waiter/waitress who wants to deliver more than just great service. Our goal is to create an exceptional dining experience for every guest who visits Gaucho. We value initiative, a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to learn and grow as part of our professional team.

Your Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

– Welcoming guests and escorting them to their tables

– Recommending food and beverages and taking customer orders

– Serving food, drinks, and wine professionally

– Introducing our salad bar and buffet selection to guests

– Setting and resetting tables, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the dining area is always well-presented

– Operating the POS system and handling payments

– Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service

– Completing opening and closing duties, as well as daily preparation tasks

– Following hygiene, food safety, and health & safety procedures

What We Expect From You

– The ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a friendly smile

– Excellent teamwork and communication skills

– Good command of both Finnish and English (additional languages are considered an advantage)

– Previous experience in an à la carte restaurant
