General Manager – Lappi Cabins

Are you ready for an extraordinary adventure? We are developing a stunning villa village just 15 km from Sodankylä, nestled in the breathtaking wilderness of Lapland. We are seeking a visionary General Manager to lead this project and transform it into a premier destination for travelers seeking the beauty of the northern wilderness. We plan to commence operations in October 2025, and we need a dynamic leader to drive this vision forward!

Key Responsibilities:

* Leadership & Management: Oversee all aspects of the villa village operations, ensuring seamless coordination with key stakeholders, including business clients, service providers, and internal teams, to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

* Operational Excellence: Manage daily operations such as budget oversight, staff recruitment and training, and guest relations to ensure the smooth and profitable operation of the resort.

* Long-term Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance, with an emphasis on sustainable tourism practices.

Ideal Candidate:

* Experience: Proven experience in hospitality or tourism management, particularly in managing hotels or villas in Lapland or similar locations.

* Customer Focus: Exceptional ability to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and handle increasing responsibilities as the project grows.

* Leadership: Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing diverse teams and driving operational success.

* Skills: Multilingual capabilities, proficiency in hospitality management software, and a passion for environmental stewardship are highly desirable.

Requirements:

* Relevant Experience: Experience in Lapland or a similar tourist destination is highly desirable. Previous management roles in locations like Levi or Ruka are a plus.

* Availability: Full-time commitment with a presence in Sodankylä. Flexibility to manage your own time and work remotely when necessary.
