Situated in the heart of the Arctic TreeHouse Hotel (https://arctictreehousehotel.com/), Rakas Restaurant & Bar (https://rakasrestaurant.com/) charms with its unique ambience and menu of meals made from fresh local ingredients prepared with a modern twist. We offer our guests a unique dining experience and are passionate about ensuring quality dining under the warm glow of pine cone lamps and stylish interior design. The name of our restaurant is Rakas, which is Finnish for beloved, and perfectly describes our understanding of what great food should be – local food with love.

Restaurant Butler creates a memorable dining experience for guests by providing guest reception, personalized attention, and high professionalism. They work closely with the Kitchen and the Serving teams, facilitating smooth operations and contributing to overall customer satisfaction. Their professionalism, product knowledge, and interpersonal skills can significantly enhance the dining experience for customers. Duties include:

– Welcoming guests, escorting them to their tables and providing other assistance

– Maintaining smooth operations and helping restaurant teams keep the service level high

– Provide personalized service

– Coordinating events

– Food and beverage service with a good understanding of the menu items

– Provide recommendations to customers

– Suggesting additional menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue for the restaurant

– Table setting, ensuring that customers have everything they need

– Transaction handling accurately and efficiently while providing courteous service

– Assisting with closing duties

 General requirements

– Hygiene pass and alcohol pass

– Teamwork skills

– You are self-driven and proactive

– Ability to take responsibility and maintain the highest level of standards

– You have an eye for detail

– Upselling abilities

– Adaptability and problem-solving skills

– Good communication skills

– Fluent English language

– Ability to legally work in Finland

– Previous experience from a similar role

 Considered as an advantage

– Flexible working hours from Monday to Sunday with alternating days off

– Average work hours 112,5 h/3 week (full-time worker)
