We are looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our Europe finance team in Vantaa. In this role, your main task will be managing the accounts payable processes of our European subsidiaries. Additionally, you will also assist with other accounting related tasks. In the future there will also be opportunities to participate for example in the payment process.

The main responsibilities of the position are:
– adding and processing incoming purchase invoices in OpusCapita system and transferring them to general ledger
– monitoring the invoice flow in OpusCapita
– maintaining control of the accounts payable subledger in ERP system
– acting as the main user of the OpusCapita system including guiding the users in purchase invoice and system related matters
– reconciling accounts payable to general ledger
– assisting colleagues in general ledger accounting tasks such as booking general journals, account reconciliations, etc.

To succeed in this role, you will need:
– applicable studies/degree
– few years of work experience as an AP accountant or similar role
– fluent verbal and written English proficiency, Finnish is an advantage
– ability to work under pressure during tight deadlines
– willingness to participate in other general ledger accounting tasks

This is a full-time permanent position, and it is located at Reima headquarter office in Vantaa, Finland, with a hybrid working model. However, we will be moving to new, fresh premises in Vallila, Helsinki at the beginning of August.
