Professional Cook – Specialized in Bangladeshi Cuisine & Fast Food
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook who can independently manage two distinct culinary stations: traditional South Asian section and our fast-food line. The ideal candidate must be a specialist in preparing authentic “Dhaka-style” Kacchi Biryani and Tehari, while also maintaining high speed and quality at our Pizza and Smash Burger station.
Key Responsibilities:
Specialized Cooking: Preparation of authentic Bangladeshi traditional dishes from scratch, specifically Kacchi Biryani and Tehari.
Buffet Management: Managing volume cooking for lunch buffets, ensuring consistency in taste and temperature for large groups.
Fast Food Service: High-speed preparation of hand-tossed pizzas and smash burgers during peak lunch and weekend rushes.
Menu Development: Assisting in recipe adjustment for spice levels while maintaining authentic flavor profiles.
Kitchen Operations: Managing food inventory, minimizing waste, and ensuring strict hygiene standards.
Requirements (Must Have):
Proven Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of professional kitchen experience is required.
Culinary Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in South Asian traditional cooking (specifically the “Dum” cooking method for Biryani) is mandatory.
Dual Skillset: Must have experience working in a fast-paced fast-food environment (Pizza/Burger) in addition to traditional catering.
Language: Professional proficiency in English is required. Finnish skills are a plus.
Certifications: Hygiene Passport (or ability to obtain immediately).
