Manor Host or Hostess – come bring a historic manor back to life

Would you like to work in a historic manor brought back to life through French culture, cuisine, and unforgettable experiences?

Vuosaaren Manor is opening its doors as a new, unique destination in Helsinki, and we are now looking for a Manor Host or Hostess to build and develop this concept together with us. Vuosaaren Manor is owned by Ranskalainen Kauppa Oy, a company specialising in French lifestyle, food, and culture, operating through a physical store, an online shop, and import activities. The manor is an experiential destination where history, flavours, and hospitality come together.

The manors premises are spacious and diverse. Under one roof you will find a French fashion boutique, a delicatessen, soaps and home fragrances, as well as a restaurant and café – all part of the same story and atmosphere.

We are looking for someone for whom good food is a true passion and who shares our love for France and French culture. You have a natural way of connecting with people and understand that true quality is created through details, ambience, and genuine care.

As the Manor Host or Hostess, you will be responsible for the day to day operations and overall development of Vuosaaren Manor. You will lead the service, build the customer experience, and ensure that every visit feels special. Your responsibilities include developing the manors services and concept, leading the team and ensuring smooth daily operations, creating and maintaining a first class customer experience, and actively participating in daily service and development work.

You may not know everything from day one, but you have a strong motivation to help build something truly unique. Your background may include experience in hospitality, artisan or craft fields, or commercial roles, but we do not compromise on a genuine appreciation for good food or a strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
