Barista and Pastry chef
– Prepare and present high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods
– Master and maintain Shin Cafés signature soufflé pancake technique
– Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all desserts
– Manage daily pastry production and ingredient preparation
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station
– Follow food safety and hygiene standards
– Assist in developing new dessert ideas and seasonal menu items
– Work closely with the kitchen and barista team
Requirements:
Previous experience as a pastry chef or pastry cook
Passion for baking, desserts, and creative pastry work
Strong attention to detail and presentation
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good teamwork and communication skills
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Basic knowledge of food safety standards
Experience with soufflé, Japanese desserts, or Asian-inspired pastry is a plus.
