We are a growing restaurant specializing in authentic Central Asian cuisine, located in a busy shopping mall ITIS food court in Helsinki. Our concept combines à-la-carte dining with a fresh salad bar, offering customers high-quality, flavorful dishes in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Central Asian Cuisine Cook to join our kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities
– Prepare authentic Central Asian dishes – 4 positions,
– Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation,
– Manage mise en place and prep work efficiently,
– Monitor food stock levels and minimize waste,
– Maintain cleanliness and hygiene according to Finnish food safety regulations,
– Work efficiently during peak hours (lunch, evenings, weekends)
– Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Requirements

– At least 4 years of experience cooking Central Asian cuisine (Uzbek, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Uyghur)
– Strong knowledge of traditional spices, techniques, and flavors,
– Ability to work in a fast-paced food court environment,
– Good teamwork and communication skills,
– Basic English required (Finnish is an advantage),
– Valid hygiene passport (Hygieniapassi) required or willingness to obtain it
