Buyer / Product Developer

PRM-Trade Oy is seeking a Buyer / Product Developer to strengthen our procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for the procurement, portfolio management, and development of assigned brands (mainly folding knives and other EDC products), as well as coordinating marketing efforts with suppliers. Your main focus is to build an attractive and competitive product selection for our customers.

Additionally, this position includes the development and launch of new product brands and products. This requires expertise in supply chain management, close collaboration with marketing teams, and active sales efforts targeted at potential B2C customers. Success in this role demands market trend monitoring, competitive analysis, and the ability to identify commercially viable product concepts.

Key Responsibilities:
Product Portfolio Management: Overseeing procurement for assigned brands, evaluating new products, and expanding the selection.
Procurement Processes: Negotiating prices, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers to ensure competitive and timely purchases.
Marketing Collaboration: Working closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure that campaigns and products align with customer demand.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyzing market trends, monitoring sales data, and making recommendations for product portfolio development.
Supply Chain Management: Coordinating logistics and inventory management in cooperation with the logistics team.

What We Expect from You:
Strong knowledge of the knife market and products (especially folding knives).
Experience in procurement, product management, or a related field.
Marketing expertise, particularly in product branding and campaign execution.
Negotiation skills and the ability to manage international supplier contracts.
Ability to work under pressure and make independent decisions.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills with different stakeholders.
Fluency in English and Ukrainian or Russian, as our work environment is international.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the knife industry, tactical gear, EDC, and outdoor products.
Understanding of e-commerce and international sales operations.
