We are seeking a

Senior Development Engineer, Teamcenter

to join our development team in Desing and Engineering Support and Development in Hämeenlinna. In this role, you will have approximately 50% on-site work requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong background on understanding Teamcenter technology technically and how it works in PLM. In this role you start development projects and run it from beginning into the stakeholder delivery. You discuss with Teamcenter team and additional stakeholders e.g. supplier technical staff. To success you need to have overall view of what Teamcenter is in PLM and business, and sometimes need to work do direct technical changes if necessary.

In the role, you will work part of Teamcenter team, which is responsible for all aspects of Teamcenter running and development. In your role, you will study and analyze Teamcenter capabilities and latest trends while running development tasks and projects which is presented by Application Manager through Teamcenter roadmap. In this role you need to deep dive into how new features and changes are technically handled and make the change in collaboration with additional stakeholders and consults. You might not do the technical change yourself, but you work as a senior developer who makes the change in our Teamcenter environment.

 Key Responsibilities: 

• Understands wide range of Teamcenter development capabilities and latest trends.
• Runs technical development projects considering Teamcenter and PLM and works closely as part of Teamcenter team.
• Technical competence to test and evaluate.
• Discussed with stakeholders about new development issues together with Application Manager.

Required Qualifications:  

• Wide Teamcenter knowledge
• Understands Teamcenter in modern business and PLM
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• Fluent in English and Finnish.
• Self-direction skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:  

• Has worked with ISO9001 and derived standards.
• Understanding of Vehicle manufacturing.
• Process development skills.

We are not looking for an expert in one technical area, but rather a generalist.
