Commercial Digitalization and Sales Engineer

You will work closely with production, sales and area sales managers to develop and achieve sales targets and digitalization roadmaps. You will participate in promoting technical expertise, maintaining and developing commercial processes, organizing best practices, and championing practical solutions for completing digitalization initiatives and daily operations. Additionally, you will build reports and present data insights to support decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive a technical support function for the commercial department. Assist Sales regarding product technical capabilities and price calculations to meet customer demands.
  • Support sales organization with technical expertise, special pricing and know-how and be the link between the production organization and its supporting functions and sales organization including customers.
  • Collaborate with sales and area sales managers to develop commercial data processes, including pricelist management and Power Bi reporting.
  • Take ownership of specific markets and customers to develop and achieve sales targets.
  • Participate and lead development projects. Collaborate across functions and represent OSTP and the Sales function internally and externally with solution providers.
  • Propose ideas and proposals to support the development of PP&BWF business
  • Specify, test and develop new digitalization features and tools.
  • Organize best practices and champion practical solutions for documenting and completing digitalization initiatives and technical support.

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a candidate who is analytic, innovative, and customer-focused. Proactive problem solving and excellent communication skills are essential. Collaboration with colleagues from various departments is crucial for achieving exceptional results and fostering a supportive working environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in sales, digitalization, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of digital sales tools and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret sales data.
  • Fluency in English and either Finnish or Swedish, additional languages advantageous.
  • Strong IT skills, with familiarity in ERP systems being advantageous.
