Are you skilled in commercial and contractual matters with a technical understanding? Are you passionate about the renewable energy sector? If so, you be the perfect fit for our Claim Manager position! As Claim Manager, you will manage and resolve claims with our subcontractors during the execution phase of our wind farm projects in the Nordic region. Identifying challenges and developing strategies to overcome them is something that inspires you.
YOUR TASKS
– Investigating subcontractors claims and determining liability in accordance with our contracts as well as any applicable laws and regulations
– Following up and negotiating claims with subcontractors until successful closure of claims
– Drafting of notices of liability, claims and settlement agreements, in cooperation with the project management team as well as our Sourcing, Legal and Insurance departments
– Maintaining records of all claims and related documentation
– Analyze and report our claims, effectively communicate the resulting “lessons learned” within the company and optimize our claim and contract management process
YOUR PROFILE
– Studies in business administration, or alternatively industrial engineering
– Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in claim management or from similar background
– You have a strong interest in complex, technical issues and have a good eye for details
– You are not afraid to give your opinion and stand your ground
– You are fluent in written and spoken English
