We are looking for a Development Chemist, Material Development to be a dynamic and enthusiastic new member to our Research and Development at our head office in Nokia, Finland.
Nokian Tyres is looking for what’s beyond the next generation of tyres. As part of our Material Development team your role will be essential in developing the innovations of tomorrow. We offer you a challenging role in a modern, high-performing team where you can make use of your talent.
In this position, you will work at the very core of our R&D Laboratory Team together with tyre professionals. Your work will include also close collaboration with other departments inside the company. This position is permanent.
Key responsibilities:
- Chemical analysis ofraw materials and rubber products
- Laboratory analysis method development
- Chemistry expert in the field of rubber technology
What we expect from you:
- Minimum Master’s Degree in Chemistry
- Proven experience of laboratory method development
- You are innovative and active, and your working style is analytical and hands-on
- Fast learner and able to manage several duties simultaneously
- Able to use Finnish and English as working languages
