Nature Guides and Wilderness Guides for winter 2026–2027
We are looking for enthusiastic and service-minded guides for the winter season 2026–2027 at all Wilderness Hotels destinations:
Nellim Inari Muotka Nangu Juutua Kieppi Saariselkä
The employment starts in late November and typically lasts until the end of March. The exact duration depends on the location, as well as your experience and educational background.
We also recruit guides for the Christmas season, so shorter employment periods are possible. If you are a student or looking for a shorter work period, we encourage you to apply.
Your role and placement will be based on your skills, language abilities, and interests – we are above all looking for the right people to join our team.
**Nature Guide** As a Nature Guide, you lead excursions where the pace slows down and the focus shifts to the surroundings, storytelling, and the experience itself.
Your tasks may include, for example: Snowshoeing and Northern Lights tours Cross-country skiing and ice fishing trips Creating nature-based experiences and storytelling Customer service and ensuring safety Equipment maintenance and tour preparation
**Wilderness Guide** As a Wilderness Guide, you take the lead in a variety of activities, including snowmobile safaris where driving skills, safety, and guest experience all come together.
Your tasks may include, for example: Snowmobile safaris Snowshoeing and Northern Lights tours Cross-country skiing and ice fishing trips Customer service and ensuring safety Equipment maintenance and tour preparation
**About snowmobile guiding:** We expect you to be familiar with snowmobiles as a vehicle and feel comfortable handling them in varying winter conditions. Previous experience is important, but you do not need to be a professional driver – we will provide full training for guiding and safety.
**What we expect from you**
– Minimum B driving license (some roles require BE or C)
– Good command of English (other languages are a plus)
– Good physical condition and ability to work in winter conditions
– Service-minded attitude and initiative
– Responsible working approach and commitment to safety guidelines
– Relevant education or previous experience is considered an advantage
**Working hours**
The work includes varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
