– The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality dishes and ensuring that the buffet table remains fully stocked.
– Menu Creation: Develop and create a menu featuring authentic Asian dishes, utilizing traditional ingredients and cooking methods.
– Cooking & Preparation: Masterfully use woks and other kitchen tools to prepare a variety of stir-fried, steamed, and grilled dishes. Ensure consistency and quality in every dishes.
– Buffet Management: Ensure the buffet table is consistently stocked with fresh, appealing dishes throughout service hours.
– Kitchen Operations: Oversee kitchen staff, maintain cleanliness, and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
– Ingredient Management: Source and maintain fresh, high-quality ingredients, managing inventory efficiently.
Skills:
– Proven experience as an Asian Chef in a busy kitchen.
– Strong skills in wok and stir-fry cooking.
– Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
– Culinary certificate or equivalent experience preferred.
