Meriaura Oy is a shipping company, established in 1986 and headquartered in Turku. Meriaura specializes in the transportation of dry cargo and complex project deliveries in Northern Europe, particularly within the Baltic Sea and North Sea areas. Our fleet features dry cargo vessels and deck cargo ships designed to transport special cargo. Meriaura aims to be the leading forerunner in eco-friendly, innovative, and solution-oriented sea transport services.

Chief Officer

We are looking for a Chief Officer (certificate unlimited STCW II/2) to join our vessel EEVA VG (https://meriaura.fi/portfolio/eevavg/). Eeva VG is a coaster (general bulk) trading mainly in the Baltic and North Sea area. Official working language is English and therefore good language skills are required. Previous experience as chief officer and from similar vessel type is essential.

The position will open from June 2025 and is permanent after a traditional trial period. Rotation according to 1:1 system, work and leave periods approximately five (5) weeks. Salary, other terms and conditions according to valid CBA.
