Development Engineer

Luvata Pori is looking for DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

We are looking for a self-directed development engineer for the process development of production methods. 

You work as part of the process development team in various copper metal casting and processing development projects. Your responsibility includes, for example, product and material development projects together with customers and internal teams. The actual development work is done in the manufacturing units, working with various production processes. You are responsible for projects to improve the quality productivity and production efficiency of the processes in close cooperation with the personnel of the sales, production and quality departments.

Success in the task requires:

• Higher university degree suitable for the position or experience suitable through work experience
• Good oral and written English skills
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently
• Enthusiasm and self-initiative

We value:

• Experience with projects and project management
• Knowledge of different materials
• Experience in design of experiments and analyzing of results
