Lead MS Software Architect

For our client were looking for a Lead Software Development Architect responsible for driving the design and development of complex, high-quality software solutions. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership in software engineering practices. The Lead Architect collaborates closely with development teams, product management, and stakeholders.

Responsibility Expectations:
– Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers.
– Leading development team of 5 persons in Finland and collaborating development teams in Eastern Europe.
– Participate in development effort hands-on.
– Participate in solution component design, including integrations, APIs, and data models from implementation perspective.
– Collaborate with solution and integration architects, product management and stakeholders to align design decisions.
– Willingness to travel to Czechia avg. 4-5 days per month.

Hard Skills:
– Extensive experience in software design and development for complex, cloud based, custom-built applications.
– Strong proficiency in: – Modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., C#, Angular)
– Database platforms (e.g., SQL Server)
– Architectural and integration patterns (e.g., event-driven design, service bus)
– Expertise in Microsoft Azure development stack, including:
– App Services, Functions, API Management, IoT Hub, Fabric
– Deep understanding of design patterns, clean code principles, and scalable architecture.
– Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing.
– Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills. Soft Skills:
– Ability to lead own development team and collaborate in delivery team of 50+ members
– Strong communication skills for engaging technical and business stakeholders
– Collaborative mindset with a focus on team empowerment and knowledge sharing – Organized and detail-oriented, with a commitment to quality.
